Terms
Two things in plain English: the terms for using this website, and a summary of how we work with clients. These are summary terms; a written quote and agreement covers each engagement.
Using this website
General information only. Everything on websiteworkhouse.com is general information about our services, not advice tailored to your business. Prices shown are starting points, not a quote.
No warranty. We keep the site accurate as best we can, but don't promise it's free of errors, and we're not liable for loss from relying on it. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Links to other sites. We link to client sites, demonstration sites and a few third parties. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what's on them.
Working with us
Fixed quote first. You get a written quote before any work starts. Our published prices are starting points; the quote is the number that applies to you. If the scope changes, we requote before doing the extra work.
Paying for a build. Website and branding projects are paid in three stages: 50% to start, 30% at first review and 20% at launch. We don't go live until the final payment clears.
Monthly services. Hosting and support, SEO and Google Ads, and social media and content are billed monthly. There's no lock-in: cancel any time by email and the service ends at the end of the current month. Google Ads spend is paid by you directly to Google, separate from our management fee.
You own it. On final payment the website files, design and copy are yours, and the domain is registered in your name. If you move hosts, we hand over every file.
Reviews. The $1,000 website includes one review round before hand-over. Larger builds include two. Extra rounds are quoted before we do them.
Your content. You supply the photos, logos and other material for the site, and you confirm you have the right to use them. We'll flag anything that looks like a copyright risk, but responsibility for supplied material is yours.
After launch. Every build comes with 7 days of free care: we fix anything not working as designed and make minor text changes. After that, take a hosting and support plan or look after the site yourself.
Related business
The Website Workhouse is a business under the same director as Jotunfjell Pty Ltd (ACN 692 079 717). This is disclosed before any build is quoted.
Governing law
These terms and every engagement are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If we disagree, we'll talk first; failing that, the courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction.
